Salad Server Zig Zag

$25.00 USD
  • Pair of 2 (25 cms)

As fun as they are functional, these handcrafted salad servers are made by the artisans from the Luangwa Artisan Collective using locally sourced mukwa wood. Perfect as a gift or for adding to your eclectic collection, you'll find any excuse to use or display these unique salad servers.

The artisans from Luangwa Artisan Collective are independent artisans that work out from Tribal Textiles, and all sale proceeds go directly to them and their families. We train those local artists in product development and business skills such as merchandising, accounting and pricing. We work with them to create beautiful products and give them access to local and international wholesale markets. We built for them an all-weather work and market place on Tribal Textiles ground, where they can sell to visitors.

While the design and technique are the same, each artisan has his own way of carving, making each piece unique in its own special way. The mukwa wood used is sourced from trees that have naturally-fallen or are licensed by the Community Resources Board.
