Rawhide Zebra Cushion Covers

This decorative pillow is intentionally designed to mimic the hide of the beautiful Crawshay zebra, a species often seen around the South Luangwa National Park. Decorated with the bold black and white markings of the zebra, this gorgeous handmade cushion cover is sure to add a bold statement to any contemporary space.

Using the trademark crackle effect that is Tribal Textiles' signature (from the starch resist technique), this decorative pillow is hand drawn and hand painted on durable cotton, decorated with the unique markings of the Crawshay zebra.

While the design and technique are the same, each artisan has his own way of starching and balancing colors, making each piece unique in its own special way.

Love my purchases !

Hello I have ordered some masks, cushions and cheese platter . I love them all . The kids are more likely not to lose their masks and also wear them because they are from Zambia , also because they love the chitenge and hand printed materials they are made out of . The cushions are perfect and have finally made the area look right and have given it the feel of Zambia , which makes me feel at home . Even during vivid there was a minimal delay coming all the way from Zambia which was great . Might be ordering some more masks so the kids have spares when they go off to uni . Also knowing that you are helping the local community is just a brilliant way to do it . I’m glad I could also donate masks . Well done Tribal Textiles !
