Made51 refugee made home decor in collaboration with TRIBAL TEXTILES zambia

Made51 Collaboration

A sustainable range of home décor handcrafted by Congolese refugees in Northern Zambia. This collection was launched in collaboration with MADE51a UNHCR initiative that creates opportunities for refugees, forcibly displaced communities and stateless people to work and earn a living through craftsmanship.

They are part of our Kuba Collection, mixing textiles and artisan made products inspired by the Kuba Cloth, embroidered raffia textiles that were the very first artifacts that came from Africa, originally made in Kuba kingdom (now known as The Democratic Republic of Congo).
