The Malimba Community School
SUPPORTING ZAMBIA'S FUTURE
Did you know that Tribal Textiles set up a school that still runs today?
In mid-2001, the community built a mud and thatch classroom where they would teach children.
This quickly became overcrowded, which is when Tribal Textiles, stepped in. Leading to the creation of the Malimba Community School.
Classrooms, a dining hall, and a water borehole were built, and the school has expanded every year since, with more help from other organisations.
Today, we continue to support the school by raising funds through sales for extracurricular activities such as creative art and sports and by providing teachers salaries.
